This glossary has been made to help myself, but also students in my situation, trying to learn some new vocabulary with the right pronunciation and so they also have the equivalent in French so that they can use both words, depending on the language they are using.
a chartered accountant (CA)

A chartered accountant (CA) is an international accounting designation granted to accounting professionals in many countries around the world, aside from the United States. In the United States, the equivalent to the CA designation is a certified public accountant (CPA).

the use of pesticides

Pesticides are used in agriculture to control weeds, insect infestation and diseases. There are many different types of pesticides; each is meant to be effective against specific pests. Some examples include: Algaecides to kill and/or slowing the growth of algae.
Example: "Pesticides are potentially toxic to humans and can have both acute and chronic health effects."
